s many of you will be aware HQ BFPO suspended all mail to BFPO’s 8, 26, 28, 56, 61 and 68 over the Christmas stand-down period, this suspension has since been lifted but it is now currently experiencing problems with sending and receiving mail through Parcel Force which has meant a delivery of only 4 boxes of mail since 4 Jan and only one collection.
Wef Wed 12 Jan, BFPO mail despatches will temporarily move via DHL with mail being delivered directly to each BFPO office. Mail despatched back to the UK will also move via DHL and we have had one successful collection so far.
Due to the issues it will likely take some time to clear the backlog from the UK and so please be patient. In addition please remember that BFPO do not offer a timed service so if you have an time sensitive item of mail, either incoming or outgoing mail, you may be better placed using HN postal facilities whilst this temporary fix is in place.
