After a recent query about Travel Insurance Cover I decided to check my own. Unfortunately, my Forces Mutual Travel Insurance does not currently cover me. This policy, which I took out as it specifically covered me whilst serving in another country, takes its advice from the UK FCDO. This currently states that travel to Italy is not advised and so the Insurance Policy is void and I am not covered.
Many others are likely to be in the same boat. Please check your Policies.
