Some of you may have noticed the news today which mentions the possibility that France will reduce the time related to a PCR test for travel to/through France from 72 hrs to 48 hrs.  I have received communication from the Embassy that this rule will be introduced in France from Mon 31 May 21.

What does this mean?  In short your PCT test must be within 48 hrs of travel coming BACK from the UK.  Going to the UK via France is no change, but returning back to Belgium will need a PCR test taken within 48 hrs of your return travel day/time.

This will obviously have an effect on those wishing to undertake travel to the UK within the 48 hr rule for Belgium so please be mindful when planning your trips, it may mean that you need to arrange for a PCR test on return from the UK rather than being able to rely on the test taken in Belgium to get you there and back.
