Vacancy:           Service Funds Clerk

A position has opened up for Service Funds Clerk, suitable to be filled by a GBR-dependant with previous experience of managing finances, is competent on IT, and who enjoys working within the office environment.

The role will include maintaining Service Funds, preparing and distributing regular statements of accounts, issuing vouchers relating to credit transfer and direct debit management as well as completing bank payments as necessary.  They will be required to highlight issues of concern or irregularities to the OiC Funds and Chain of Command. Using approved software, accountability and oversight will be provided by HQ EJSU and the successful candidate will undergo DLE and local training for working in the EJSU building prior to commencing their responsibilities. Further training and support in the use of the SAGE accounting software will be provided during the handover and remotely from RAF Air Command. The role of Service Funds Clerk requires both an eye for critical detail and good interpersonal communication skills to facilitate liaison with other Fund officials.

Pay and hours:  EUR11.07 per hour, average of 6 hours a week. Candidates should be flexible with how this balances across a month given the nature of funds accounting.
