What do I need to know?

From Thursday 6 May 2021 EJSU will be using a new online system to distribute information and orders utilising the Defence Gateway platform.

Both the Orders and the DOWNREP will be merged into one digital document.

What does it mean to me?

The main aim of the new system is to reduce the amount of information being pushed out to service personnel and get smarter with the really important information you need to see as well as getting smarter with technology to reduce the time spent compiling the documents by NSE’s so they can concentrate more on local matters.

You will be able to access this system from any device using your Defence Gateway login.

Email traffic will be reduced as we move towards more digital formats.

How do I use the new system?

To use the new system you will need your Defence Gateway Login (If you do not have one then you need to create one here).

The system is split in 4 sections.

Messages – This can be used by Head of Locations or SNR’s to get out a community message or important information at the top of Orders.

Duties – The duties section will show the current European Duty and Welfare Officer but can also display local duties if required by the NSE.

Orders – The orders section will display information that Service Personnel must action

Notifications – Notifications is for information that service personnel Should be aware of.
