EJSU and Fitness

At EJSU we have a RAF SNCO Physical Training Instructor and an Army JNCO All Arms Physical Training Instructor.  They deliver fitness testing to all EJSU supported locations and provide health and fitness guidance during the NATO Military Skills Courses and when requested.  The RAF SNCO PTI also delivers and facilitates adventurous training for personnel supported by EJSU.

Success on operations is influenced by the physical ability and performance of the individual officer and soldier in every role. Physical Education addresses the core requirement for physical fitness by promoting a life-long exercise habit and healthy lifestyle, in a specific military context. The purpose of Physical Training (PT) is to ensure personnel are able to withstand the rigors of Service life and supports a good level of health. Supporting the moral and physical components of fighting power, PT is a core Command responsibility and individuals at every rank have a duty to keep themselves fit and healthy through organised, structured and personal fitness regimes.

Lone Soldier Fitness Programme – Army fitness programme designed for those who spend long periods away from their parent unit or who do not have access to a PTI.

RN Fitness Programme – A fitness programme to prepare for and maintain Royal Navy fitness standards.

100% Army Fit – stay fit at home with Army PTIs and also use the 100% Army Fit app for strength and cardio training.

RAF Remote Workout Series (non-MODNet only)  – RAF PTIs will put you through your paces during these stay at home workouts.
