Following on from our forum event in June and BFBS advertising this month, we are still looking for people to participate and get involved with our community event on Friday 16th September. There will be contests for adults and children before the event. Genius Gin lovers… (Adults only!) can you come up with a gin based cocktail which celebrates this event being held on Battle of Britain Anniversary weekend. Entrants are encouraged to send their recipes GSO-EJSU-Belgium-CommunityHub@mod.gov.uk. Children can you design the fastest, highest, strongest, most colourful air plane made from paper ? Planes will be made and flown on the day according to your designs. Maybe use the rest of the school holidays to get practising? We are looking for you to join us on the day and Warmly Welcome all new members of our community. The Brit bar will be providing drinks and SSAFA will be on hand with cake teas and coffees.
So come along join in the fun and if you can spare some of your time your community team would really appreciate your support.
