This week CLO Welcombeek & community activities

  • Tuesday 18th October; Welcombeek Coffee morning held at the Community House in Sterrebeek between 10:00am and 12:00 noon. Please come along and share in the conversation and ask questions of your CLOs, or other community members and friends advice. Catching up over refreshments provided (at a voluntary contribution cost)
  • Thursday 20th October FCDO CLO Coffee Invitation: The FCDO Community will be at meeting at  “Mokkatoff” in Tervuren between 11:00 – 13:00.Mokkatoff is located atBrusselsesteenweg 10, 3080 Tervurenand is approximately 10 minutes’ walk from the Tervuren tram terminus.  There is also plenty of parking in the nearby car park “Parking Indigo Tervuren Market” or on the streets in Tervuren centre (to be paid at the machines). It is always a great community offsite event run by our FCDO colleagues and a chance to meet further British friends and spouses deployed also in your location via another government department. Please do let either your CLOs, or the FCDO CLOs whether you plan to attend so numbers can be managed accordingly with off-site meet ups
  • Additionally, for any community member and their family who did not receive a Meet and Greet from your EJSU support team. Or, if you have recently arrived: please do join your CLOs and the wider EJSU Support team based out of SHAPE and the local NSE, on Thursday 27th October at 11:00am at the Welcombeek Community House in Strerrebeek. Your North Belgium HoL, Padre, Welfare and HNLO will visit to provide support, signposting and advice where possible. This, alongside your local CLOs Phillipa and Glenn. Please do let your CLOs know if you can attend and how many of your family will be in attendance, too, Refreshments will be provided, too

Furthermore, please do keep your eyes peeled for joined up North and South Belgium shared community activities held at SHAPE, Mons through the remainder of 2022
