Like some other vaccines, levels of protection begin to wane over time so the booster dose help extend the protection you gained from your first 2 doses and reduce the risk of you needing admission to hospital due to COVID-19 infection. Please read this information about COVID Boosters and the Pfizer BioNtech Product Information before signing up. Who is currently eligible?
We will offer Pfizer to those who are more than 3 months from a previous dose and fall into currently eligible groups and have not had COVID within 28 days for adults and 3 months for children. This includes
First and second dose for anyone aged 12-16 who is unvaccinated (please see alternative signup for 5-11)
All aged 16+ needing first second or booster dose
Small numbers needing a booster (4th dose) who are immunosuppressed and were eligible for the third primary dose
